These rules are in place to ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all. The club reserves the right to modify these rules and take appropriate action against those who repeatedly violate them.

I release Spokane Badminton Club from any liability for personal injury, property damage, or other losses that may result from my participation in club activities.
“Early Birds” session group meets on Fri (7:00 – 10:00 pm) and Sun (2:30 – 4:30 pm). It's mainly for beginners and youths. Training is also available for Early Birds sessions.
Cost is $5 per session, per person, no membership fee.

Membership, Fees, and Games
- Annual membership fee: $100. Membership is valid for a calendar year. Players who continuously stay in the Spokane area for less than six months can purchase a half-annual membership ($50). The membership fee is not refundable.
- Play fees: Players should pay the play fee immediately upon entering and before play and write down their name. There is no refund if a player decides to leave early.
- Play Fee for Members: $5 per session.
- Play Fee for Non-Members: $10 per session.
Player Classification and Gameplay
- Skill level classification: Players are classified into two groups based on their skill level:
- A-level players Group.
- B-level players Group.
- Normally, players play with those in the same group. With the consensus of the players of a game, a game can have mixed-level players.
- Beginner players: Beginners are strongly encouraged to join early-bird sessions and consider taking lessons to improve their skills. The Club reserves the right to decline beginners from playing if there are over 28 players.
Conduct on Court
- Rotation: A player will write down his/her name on the whiteboard for his/her turn to play. Please erase the name when it is the player’s turn to play. A player may pass at any given time in order to play with a different group and remain at the top of the list for the next opening.
- Warm-up time: A maximum of 5 minutes of warm-up time is allowed before the start of a player’s first game of the evening.
- Once four players are on a court, they should stay on the same court until the end of the game.
- End of game procedure: At the end of a game,
- players should leave the court immediately.
- players should leave the shuttle underneath the net as a courtesy to the next group of players.
- Respect and fair play:
- All players are expected to conduct themselves with respect towards others.
- All players are expected to be fair to others regarding rotation and on-court conduct.
Grievance and Suggestions
- Any grievances or suggestions for improvement can be discussed with the club president or another board member or submitted in writing to the club president (Duan-President, Ted, Ta-Tao, Paul, Fred, Guiji, Jennifer, Jocelyn).
